Meet Dr. Bob DeMarco, D.M.D.
Dr. Robert DeMarco was born in Southern California in 1958; he is the middle child between his two sisters. He has been married for over thirty-six years to his high school sweetheart, who is a registered nurse and together have three wonderful children and two granddaughters and counting! Bob and his family enjoy all things outdoors including bird and big game hunting, fly fishing, camping, hiking, sand dunning, snow skiing and even SCUBA diving.
In 1983 Robert graduated with a degree in Biology with a minor in chemistry from California State University at Fresno. He continued his education at The University of Pennsylvania where received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. After graduating, he attended a Post graduate residency program at Loma Linda Veterans Administration Hospital and finished in 1988. Dr. DeMarco was very involved throughout his student career. He was an active member, and past vice president, in the Psi Omega Fraternity. He has been, and continues to be, a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) since 1985 and a member of the Arizona Dental Association since 1989.
Dr. DeMarco has lived and worked within the community of Glendale, Arizona since he moved here in 1988. He was previously employed at CIGNA where, when he left, he was the Dental Clinic Administrator. After, he worked in various private practices as an associate. In 1994, broke ground and built his first practice on 91st Avenue and Union Hills. He had his clinic there until 2004. He permanently moved locations to a new building off of 88th Avenue and Union Hills. In 2011 Dr. Wismann joined Dr. DeMarco’s practice. They have four hygienists who work with them. Dr. DeMarco absolutely loves to practice general dentistry from the ages of 3 to 103 years old!
